Forum: forums Subject: did my uploading cause a hard drive crash?

On the catalog for my account, I noticed that my queue of 56 files had been stopped on account of the hard drive needing a "fix." I would like to know if my uploading practices have contributed to the problem, and if so, what I need to do to avoid that. Further, it would be helpful to know when to expect the tasks already in the queue to be completed.

Thank you.

i don't see any issues with your uploads. it's possible that a server was temporarily offline. if there is an item of yours that has issues please post the identifier or url and an explanation of what the issue is. thanks.

So, do I need to re-post the items or what? The congestion/backup problem is still there. Will it be resolved anytime soon, or what? I am not a techie, so I need some explanation from somebody.

you'll need to be more specific. i see you've created 190 items (which by the way entitles you to a collection for your items. if you want one make the request to info@archive.org). i'm not sure what you mean by congestion/backup. do you have an identifier for an item that failed?
